I Dreamed a Dream…

The relationship between the witch, Macy Vaughn, and Whitelighter, Harry Greenwood. Harry falls hard for Macy almost as soon as he meets her but represses his feelings due to the nature of their relationship. Even as he makes a gallant effort to suppress his growing desires, he silently seeks her out every time they are in a room together. When the origins of Whitelighters are revealed to him, Harry starts to experience an existential crisis which leaves him questioning his whitelighter nature. Indeed his path gets murky as he becomes envious of Macy's attraction to other men and in turn has a hard time communicating with the one person that he always shared an effortless connection with. Eventually, Harry acknowledges where his self-discovery journey has taken him and confesses to Macy that he fears his churlish behavior has diminished him in her eyes. Macy having gone through her own awakening of feelings for her friend and former whitelighter embraces and forgives him. After some light flirtation and a near-death, on both their parts, the two lovers finally come together and share a romantic kiss as they dance to the sound of their own music under the stars.

Their love story tragically ended in the summer of 2021 when Macy made the ultimate sacrifice to give up her life in order to destroy the Whispering Evil and save the world.

Ishta, also known as The Guardian, was an ancient witch who became the oldest sister of the first sisterhood of the Charmed Ones after she and her fellow Charmed Ones drank from the Unity Bowl to defeat the first Conqueror. She and Ishani betrayed their sisterhood by entombing a power-hungry Inara alive. She also served as a guardian spirit of the Black Amber Tree underneath the Command Center for at least ten thousand years as a punishment, dedicated to guarding the past and protecting the future, before she sacrificed herself along with Ishani and Inara to save the magical world from destruction, but not before they reconciled their sisterly bond.

Ishta was a witch with heightened abilities due to her being a previous Charmed One. Along with her basic witch abilities (casting spells and brewing potions), Ishta had an unidentified ability to project a field of light. Furthermore, she could also access the Power of Three, the collective power of the Charmed Ones, allowing them to vanquish the most powerful of evil beings, such as demons. She had long since lost access to the Power of Three when she and Ishta entombed a power-hungry Inara alive and began the cycle of destruction for generations of Charmed Ones to come.
